Build quality into processes and deliverables

Have you heard people saying that quality management is too expensive?

That’s another example of poor tailoring. You have to expend some effort on your quality management, and in return, you’ll save extra effort by reducing reworking, and improve your reputation as well. There should be a balance here, and what you get out of the system should be more than what you invest in it. If not, your quality management system is not tailored properly.
